Founded by Merileyka, the mobile bartending and event staffing company is based in Riverview, the Hillsborough County community southeast of Tampa between Brandon and Apollo Beach, and serves clients across the greater Tampa Bay area. From backyard weddings to milestone birthdays, its work is personal, playful, and built around the people being celebrated.
Merileyka's path to bartending began alongside an event planner. A mother of two, she discovered her love of creating cocktails while helping with celebrations and making treats, and, as she writes on her FindBartenders profile, quickly realized "how much I loved being part of life's special moments." That love of the moment runs through everything Buzzed and Beyond offers: wedding and private-party bartending, craft cocktails, beer and wine service, custom drink menus, event consultation, portable bar rental, and cocktail classes. The Torres wedding shows how much Buzzed and Beyond can bring to a single day. The team handled the décor and the bar, setting up separate indoor and outdoor bars and a finished tablescape for the reception. Signature cocktails flowed through the night, the company's Shot Cart kept the dance floor lively, and a Champagne tower became the moment everyone gathered for as the bubbly cascaded from the top glass down.
A backyard wedding Merileyka wrote about earlier this year took a more intimate approach. The couple chose a his-and-hers pairing, an Amaretto Sour for her and a classic Margarita for him, and the bar added Coronas dressed with chamoy and Tajín, a spicy-sweet twist she says became a guest favorite. A Champagne pour gave the couple a photo moment to remember. As she put it, "Backyard weddings don't have to feel basic."
For the Bailey family's 19th anniversary, which included a vow renewal, Buzzed and Beyond crafted signature cocktails for the celebration, with a printed bar menu to match.
When a wife planned a surprise 30th birthday for her husband, Buzzed and Beyond designed the menu around his favorite flavors: bold Old Fashioneds alongside tropical cocktails suited to an outdoor Florida celebration.
The casino-themed birthday was a full production at a client's lakeside home. The bar was set up outside by the water, surrounded by glittering lights, a balloon arch, card tables, and a signature drink menu that listed every recipe. A bubble gun and a shot ski board added to the fun as guests played cards and toasted the guest of honor.
For a private birthday aboard a yacht in St. Petersburg, the bar moved onto the water. Handcrafted cocktails were served on deck against open-water views, the kind of setting where every bottle, tool, and bag of ice is planned and loaded before the boat leaves the dock.

At a baby shower for two first-time parents expecting a girl, the mom-to-be's favorite drink was a Paloma mocktail, an alcohol-free take on the grapefruit-and-lime classic, served in a Buzzed and Beyond cup, garnished with grapefruit and flowers. The bar paired it with its "Smoke & Sip" presentation, a smoke-filled bubble floating above the drink. It is a thoughtful touch: the guest of honor who is not drinking still gets a drink that feels made for her.
That care extends to community events. In Nokomis, Merileyka served mocktails at an amputee social held at a rehabilitation hospital and helped create a Heart Wall, which she called "a powerful symbol of strength, resilience, and community." A custom bar sign and a custom Valentine's menu completed the setup.
Sometimes the menu goes beyond the bar entirely. For a holiday celebration themed "Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice," Buzzed and Beyond served residents fresh mini pancakes made on-site with a pancake machine, along with toppings and cozy holiday drinks.
Across Buzzed and Beyond's events, the specialty touches are a big part of the personality: smoke bubbles, the shot ski, Champagne towers, and the company's LED Shot Cart. The cart holds 104 shots, so guests can grab one without leaving the dance floor. It has made appearances during the hora loca, the high-energy late-night stretch of many Latin American weddings and quinceañeras, when the music picks up and the props come out.
